About the Opportunity

This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FEU].

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our Project Management Project Controls team as a Mid-Level Business Analyst in the Construction and Design Services organization. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing and reporting financial and resource data, developing operational metrics, and driving strategic performance improvements across the business unit.

This position is ideal for a professional with a few years of relevant experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and contribute to high-impact initiatives. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include:

Reporting and Analysis:* Lead the development and delivery of accurate, timely financial and operational reports on transmission and rider program resources using tools such as QlikView, Power BI, TOAD Data Point, and Microsoft Office Suite. Interpret complex data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Stakeholder Engagement:* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment of goals and consistency in reporting. Serve as a key liaison to facilitate communication and support strategic initiatives. Executive-Level Presentations:* Develop and deliver high-quality executive-level presentations that communicate operational and financial strategies. Translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making. Process Improvement:* Utilize reporting systems and tools to automate processes, enhance data accuracy, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency. Strategic Support:* Provide analytical support for project planning, forecasting, and performance tracking. Contribute to the development of business cases and strategic recommendations.
