Position Summary
The Cement Bulk Plant Operator will safely maintain and operate cementing bulk equipment and the bulk plant. The operator will be responsible for pulling bulk equipment to be loaded and used at the well site, assist in loading bulk chemicals for jobs, loading of cement haul trucks and able to conduct preventative maintenance on the bulk plant.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
•Safely maintains cementing bulk equipment and the bulk plant.
•Responsible for pulling bulk equipment to be loaded and used at the well site.
•Assist in maintaining inventory of products and supplies at the bulk plant.
•Load bulk chemicals for jobs and may assist in calculating load out sheets.
•Coordinating the movement of bulk products to and from the facility.
•Understands hazardous materials, job, wash up and discharge procedures and ensures compliance with Axis Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, guidelines and regulations, promoting safety awareness and environmental consciousness.
•Performing other duties as assigned by operations management.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
•High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
•At least one (1) year experience in material handling or cementing operations with an oilfield service company.
•Active state-issued driver license in good standing.
•Must be able to travel as job requires.
•Work may be performed in all weather conditions.
•Mobility, including entering confined spaces, enter areas by the use of ladders or other access devices up to 15 ft.; ability to bend, stoop, twist, stand, squat, crawl and walk.
•Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
•Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written in English.
• Basic math skills and problem solving and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees.
•Reliable telephone (cell phone) communication and transportation.
•Ability to clear eligibility on Axis pre-employment requirements.
•Receipt of proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law.
