We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to take over the day to day procedures, the position also requires some HR responsibilities. We are a family owned business, in the equipment rental industry, with lots of moving parts; we are looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Detail oriented and able to manage several responsibilities
- QuickBooks desktop experience
- Training in business administration/accounting or a related field
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles; receivables and payables
- Computer skills in Gmail, Google Drive, and QuickBooks
- Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full cycle accounting; including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts
- Inputting and processing payables and receivables accurately
- Filing GST
- Administrative duties are helping Sr Management where needed
- Revise company policies as required
- Other duties and special projects as required
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
