Boat Attendant

Assist in the safe operation of the boat, ensuring compliance with all maritime laws and regulations.

Perform pre-departure checks and routine maintenance to ensure all boat equipment is functioning properly.

Monitor weather conditions and assist in determining safe navigation routes.

Safely load, unload, and secure cargo; assist passengers and crew with boarding and disembarking.

Ensure availability and proper functioning of all required safety equipment, including life jackets and emergency kits.

Maintain the cleanliness of the boat and its public areas; perform minor repairs and report malfunctions.

Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and crew, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience onboard.

Track fuel consumption, task completion times, and maintain logs for operational efficiency.

Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and maritime safety standards at all times.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Dredge Captain or Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Marine Safety Certification (STCW) or other recognized maritime training is an asset.

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a boat operator or in a similar maritime role.

Valid Grade 3 License.

Strong physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Willingness to work extended hours and under challenging conditions as required.
