We have immediate on-call work available, short conversation for basic instructions and get paid!
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant to start as a remote, on-call team member. The role will focus on answering patient questions and translating heart monitor instructions. Over time, the position will transition to on-site part-time, assisting with cardiac monitor application, management, and patient education.
- Respond to patient questions about heart monitor instructions via phone, text, or email
- Translate communications for Spanish-speaking patients to ensure understanding
- Document interactions accurately in the EHR system
- Apply and manage cardiac monitors for patients
- Educate patients on proper use and follow-up procedures
- Support physicians and clinical staff with monitoring workflows
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment
- Document patient interactions and monitor data in EHR
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA/RMA)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with technology and following remote workflows
- Previous experience in patient care or medical office preferred
- Ability to transition to on-site work after remote training
