Position: Benefits I/C

Location: Tampa Bay Area (In-house position)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 5:30 pm

Hourly: Starts at $20-28 an hour.

Benefits (after 90 days):

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the administration of health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs.

- Partner with vendors, brokers, and carriers to ensure cost-effective and competitive offerings.

- Lead open enrollment communications, education sessions, and systems setup.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, USERRA, etc.).

- Analyze benefits trends and make recommendations for plan design improvements.

- Develop and manage the benefits budget, ensuring accuracy and cost efficiency.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, escalations, and problem resolution.

- Collaborate with HR leadership on total rewards strategy.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration.

- Strong knowledge of benefits laws and compliance requirements.

- Proven ability to lead programs and influence at multiple levels of the organization.

- Excellent communication and analytical skills.

- HR certification (CEBS, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) a plus.
