Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems and components
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components, such as brakes, shocks, struts, and tires
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs and installations
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and installations
- Experience and a good understanding of tuning carburetors
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
