American Constructors’ Story
American Constructors was founded in 1979 with the objective to build quality facilities for select clients in an open and honorable way. Over the last 43 years we’ve completed over 700 projects in excess of $3 billion dollars. Qualifications
•Minimum experience of 1 to 2 ground-up commercial projects as Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager is highly preferred.
•Strong drive and desire to be mentored and grow through working closely with a highly experienced and long-tenured Senior Project Manager and Senior Superintendent.
•Passion for working on a wide variety of projects here in Middle Tennessee where you’ll learn to design better projects and not simply build to plan.
•Strong relationship builder that’s equally effective communicating with an owner, architect, or a tradesman.
•You take pride and ownership for your work and want to work with other like-minded individuals in a firm where you can be an owner too.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and experienced with one or more scheduling/estimating software programs.
•Prefer 4-year Construction Management or Engineering degree.
Key Functions
•Work closely and assist one of our highly experienced Senior Project Managers onsite with one of our Middle Tennessee projects.
•Learn all aspects of construction from value engineering and design work at project inception through the support of field operations throughout the construction process.
•Progressively gain experience in a wide range of projects from LEED Certified, Athletics, Churches, Community, Education, Healthcare, Office, Performing Arts, Retirement.
