Armstrong Regional Cooperative is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team.
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our busy gas bar. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support a positive team environment.
- Assist the Manager with day-to-day operations of the gas bar and convenience store
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain store cleanliness, product displays, and inventory levels
- Perform cash handling, daily balancing, and deposits accurately
- Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are followed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Support scheduling, ordering, and performance management as required
- Previous retail or gas bar/convenience store experience (management experience an asset)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer and POS system skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
