Responsibilities :
The Asset Management Analyst is a newly added position created to support the growth of ClearGen’s business and expanding portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Asset Management, this role operates at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy. It offers a unique opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to the investment lifecycle—supporting due diligence for new transactions and contributing to the performance management of operating renewable energy assets. The analyst will play a key role in gathering and interpreting data and delivering insights that directly shape investment decisions. Beyond analytics, the role provides meaningful interaction with internal leadership, external partners, and experienced developers and investors. •Gather, organize, and input data into Excel-based financial models to support underwriting of new investments.
•Collect due diligence materials for new investment opportunities, ensuring completeness and organization for subsequent review.
•Analyze materials related to potential investment opportunities; assess risks and value drivers, apply sound judgment, and present findings in a clear, compelling narrative for internal review.
•Follow up with development partners and third parties to confirm data accuracy and ensure completeness, balancing persistence with professionalism.
•Review and validate data for accuracy; identify inconsistencies and resolve issues in collaboration with internal teams.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, technical) to prepare materials for investment committee review.
•Organize, label, and archive project documentation, transfer files and input data accurately into Microsoft Dynamics and internal systems.
•Monitor operational and financial performance of existing assets through internal dashboards and reporting tools.
•Support the preparation of recurring and ad hoc performance reports for internal leadership and external investors.
•Track key performance indicators, identify variances, and contribute to performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
•Project finance, asset management, or a related field a plus.
•Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
•Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
•Able to work autonomously as well as part of a highly collaborative and high-performance team.
•Bias for action; acting with the appropriate degree of urgency with an ultimate focus on delivering results.
•Excited about the transition to a cleaner energy market.
Required:
•Must currently reside within a 30-mile commuting distance of the Charlotte office location.

Location: 3420 Toringdon Way, Charlotte, NC. This position follows a hybrid schedule—typically in-office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with option to work remote work on Wednesdays and Fridays.
