Job Summary
The Asset Management Analyst will provide support to the Asset Manager & Asset Management Associate in overseeing portfolio production of Standard Solar Inc’s (SSI) growing solar assets and day-to-day tasks of the Asset Management business. Asset Management/O&M works closely with SSI’s Finance, Accounting, Engineering, & Diligence departments to ensure system performance and project delivery. Additionally, the Asset Management Analyst will be asked on occasion to support special projects related to research, data entry and analysis, and updating policies and procedures. This is position full-time position
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Generate Monthly PPA Invoices and verify billed Community Solar Garden Revenue with 3rd Party Aggregators.
• Ensure payment and monthly close of outstanding AR in support of accounting each generation period per portfolio fund
• Learn to monitor and extract data from the solar system’s DAS for internal and external reporting
• Track project hand-off deliverables between Diligence, Finance, and SSI Engineering to O&M/Asset Management
• Assist in managing 3rd party Aggregator Relationships across SSI’s Community Solar Portfolio
• Maintain Portfolio Vegetation Management Schedule
• Review portfolio performance results and compare them with actual modeled and weather-adjusted production. Liaise with O&M providers to provide operational notes regarding site production and revenue variance.
• Compile monthly/quarterly production reports in Microsoft Excel & PowerBI dashboards
• Provide support oversight of all direct Asset Management contractual relationships. Manage relationships for all stakeholders to include aggregators, off-takers, hosts, crews, technicians as well as local, county, and state AHJs as required.
• Help develop and improve Asset Management department processes and procedures.
• Maintain the highest ethical practices that encourage individual and team integrity and responsibility.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
• BS/MS with knowledge and interest in the renewable power industry.
• Must possess a current valid license to drive or otherwise provide own transportation.
• Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines . The position generally requires a candidate’s presence in our office and is not primarily a telework or remote site position. The candidate may interface with customers, financial partners, bank personnel, vendors, and other employees, including Senior and Executive Management as well as the public .
