Assembly Operator Lead

The Assembly Operator Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the assembly line, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role serves as a key liaison between assembly operators and management, providing guidance, training, and support to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support other Assembly Operators.

- Maintain assigned documentation.

- Assist leadership with assigned tasks.

- Assembly of electronics by utilizing provided tools.

- Follow established production and quality procedures.

- Participate in the daily start-up communications meetings.

- Maintain personal training documentation.

- Follow defined Standard Work Instructions and provide input for improvement.

- Performs station audits and inspections and follow-up on abnormalities.

- Perform high complex quality inspection and testing using computer software and programs to collect data.

- Apply specific quality protocols and reactions when identifying abnormalities or product defects.

- Ensures individual compliance to established policies and procedures.

- All other duties assigned.

Required Skills and Attributes:

- Demonstrated familiarity with hand tools and experience handling parts and fasteners.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting, prioritizing effective communication and cooperation with colleagues.

- Willingness and capability to adhere to attendance requirements and follow the daily/weekly schedule.

- Computer proficient

- Maintain Quality Control, Safety and other documentation in electronic form.

Qualifications:

- Strong Manufacturing Experience.

- Background in Electronics Assembly and Repair.

- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

- This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
