JOB SUMMARY:

The Assembler is responsible for assembling metal parts and components into finished products according to design specifications. Assemblers are also tasked with inspecting finished products for quality, and ensuring all work is completed on time following safety protocol.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Assemble metal parts and components according to blueprints and/or work instructions.
Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery (ex. drills, grinders, and saws) to assemble parts.
Align and fit parts together, using appropriate fixtures, clamps, or jugs to hold parts in place during assembly.
Inspect assembled components for accuracy and quality.
Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in materials or assembly.
Conduct tests on assembled products to ensure they work properly, following specific testing procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Maintain records of assembly work, including materials used, time spent on tasks, and any issues encountered.
Maintaining efficiency, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the final product meets both safety and quality standards.
Adhere to all safety regulations and wear necessary protective equipment.
Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing proper personal protective equipment.
Collaborate with team members and leads to meet production goals.
Additional responsibilities as required.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent


PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, touch objects, tools and controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
