High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

•Assembly skills including but not limited to examining all parts, interpreting drawings, and assembling using appropriate tools for each procedure
•Finishing skills including but not limited to examining, grinding, and polishing using appropriate tools for each procedure

Duties and Responsibilities
This position requires an individual to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
•Follow oral instructions to perform necessary processes
•Conduct equipment inspections for proper operation and mechanical integrity
•Maintain all assigned or department equipment according to procedures
•Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine operations
•Identify and locate required materials and parts for assigned jobs
•Maintain and document proper material tracking throughout project such as deficiency logs
•Maintain correct time keeping throughout project by tracking in project management software
•Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
•Properly setup and safely operate a variety of assigned equipment such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, and grainer according to all procedures
•Examine and feel surface of workpiece for defects
•Assemble products according to customer and company standards including but not limited to installing hardware, laying gasket, assembling hinges, and installing plates in correct orientation to the structure
•Prepare overall product aesthetics for final inspection, ensuring product outputs meet the specified requirements before product is released
•Assist in other areas of the facility as needed or assigned, including overtime when necessary
