JOB SUMMARY
General assembly position to help the team meet production goals. Position requires strong assembly skills and able to handle saw work. The individual is expected to perform without assistance and under minimal supervision.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for assembly of small products with large batches and requires stenciling.
•Strong knowledge of fabrication tools such as grinders.
•Following job routers and correctly clock hours properly for the designated task.
•Individuals are required to inspect the pre-existing weld, of the received part, to ensure and uphold the integrity of the part.
•Individuals will utilize cranes and hoist when appropriate for the designated task.
•Individuals will be required to utilize forklifts, as needed.
•Individuals are requested to be able to inspect the part prior and post weld to ensure it meets the requirements of the task.
•Maintain a clean and organized working area.
•Be safety conscious and report any safety hazards to HSE.
•Promote a safe working environment in accordance with the appropriate HSE procedure(s).
•Participate in actions which promote a safety and quality culture within NOV.
•Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
•Maintain a clean & organized work area; utilize safe work habits.
•Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
•High School diploma or equivalent required.
+ Vocational education (high school, GED or other appropriate education, commercial or shop training; technical school).
•Minimum 3-5 yrs of assembly experience.
•Must be able to read blueprints/drawing to determine tasks with minimal assistance & supervision.
•Must be able to handle general assembly of small parts, measure bores, and read saw prints.
•Comfortable working with Pneumatic power tools & must be able to use tag and stamping laser machines.
•Industry-related experience is a plus.
•Job Shop and Welding experience is a plus.
•All welding certifications must be obtained on-site (must be certified through NOV).
•Operate forklifts & cranes as needed.
•Forklift and Crane certification is a plus.

•Work will be performed in a factory environment with a wide range of temperature changes.
•Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as welding gear, gloves, protective clothing, glasses/goggles, respirator/face mask, ear protection, and safety shoes throughout the shift.
•Work may be performed in areas with exposure to harmful physical and chemical agents (e.g., fumes, dust, heat, ionizing/non-ionizing radiation, and chemicals).
+ Per HSE requirements, participation in medical surveillance programs may be required
•Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for most of the shift.
•Frequent bending required during setups and measurement verifications.
