ASAP Painter - 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at ASAP. This role involves preparing and applying coatings to metal components while ensuring compliance with internal and customer specifications. No experience is required for this position and the necessary training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be someone with experience following specific instructions and with a strong attention to detail. The Production Painter applies prime, topcoat, and Cerakote to detail parts to meet customer requirements.

Preferred experience of one-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to observe details in order to accomplish tasks thoroughly and accurately.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to understand various measurement systems and how to convert between them.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to look up appropriate tables and charts for necessary time/temperature.
