GoEnergy is one of the fastest-growing commercial energy consultancies in the region, specializing in gas & electric supply. We’re expanding and looking for an entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Brooklyn — with the opportunity to grow into a District Manager role as we scale.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Drive B2B sales of gas & electric supply contracts to commercial clients across the NY tri-state region (and beyond).
✅ Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team (Account Managers + Business Development Reps).✅ Implement territory strategies, set goals, and forecast performance using our CRM.
✅ Manage full lifecycle of talent development — hiring, onboarding, coaching, and career progression.
✅ Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supplier relations, and marketing for seamless deal execution and client satisfaction.
✅ Help expand GoEnergy’s reach by opening and managing new territories — with a clear path to District Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience (energy supply sales preferred).- Proven track record in building, coaching, and scaling sales teams.
- Hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to close complex commercial deals.
- Experience with sales forecasting, territory management, and CRM (HubSpot a plus).
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the tri-state region and beyond.
Compensation & Benefits:
- First-Year OTE: $77,000–$150,000+ (competitive base + commission + bonuses).- Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision).
