Job Title: Area Lighting Field Operations Supervisor
Position Overview: The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for direct oversight and day-to-day activities of field crews. Assign work and provide direction, while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards. Responsive to customer needs, maintain effective lines of communication between management and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise and coordinate the activities of field personnel while adhering to production schedules and ensuring quality execution of work.
•Assign tasks and monitor performance and productivity of field personnel.
•Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
•Serve as the point of contact for field personnel for issues, resolving conflicts and escalating concerns when necessary.
•Monitor equipment usage and maintenance, ensuring optimal availability and functionality.
•Track job progress and provide regular updates to management.
•Conduct quality and safety audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and safety protocols.
•Train, mentor and evaluate field staff; recommend hiring, promotions and disciplinary action as needed.
•Maintain accurate records of job activities, incidents and material usage.
•Coordinate with other departments to support efficient field operations, ensuring inventories are available to field personnel for assigned projects.
•Monitor productivity and expenses and ensure accurate accounting of hours and accuracy of job costing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•3-5 years in field operations preferred.0
•Strong planning and task management skills.
•Proficient understanding of Area Lighting materials, construction, corrosion, and safety standards.
•Understanding of crew operations and how to maximize productivity.
•Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
•Ability to manage multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced enfironment.
•Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
•Proficient in working independently, prioritizing tasks effectively, and problem solving.
•Ability to travel a minimum of 75%.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.
•Crane certified (Preferred)
•Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Preferred).
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to stand, walk and move about for extended periods of time (up to 10-12 hours per day).
•Frequent lifting, carrying and moving materials or equipment up to 50 lbs.
•Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders or stairs, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
•Tolerance for outdoor work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
•Use of hands and arms for operating tools, equipment or technology devices.
•Visual acuity to inspect sites, read documents and observe safety hazards.
•Precision in using hand and power tools while performing tasks required for wood pole inspection.
•Sharp eyesight to detect small defects, cracks, or other issues on poles and read inspection data clearly.
•Adequate hearing to listen to instructions, communicate with team members, and detect auditory signals that may indicate issues during inspections.

Pay Scale: $70,000-85,000 annually
