Arborwest Consulting is seeking a self-motivated, career-driven individual to join our team.
We currently have one full-time position to fill in the Victoria area.

Applicants with related experience but less than the required qualifications may be considered for a Junior Work Planner position.
Requirements for this position:
•Minimum one year of Natural Resource Management, Vegetation Management or related experience
•Eligibilty for Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) and/or Wildlife Danger Tree Assessor (WLDT)
•Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and GIS mapping experience
•Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
•Ability to walk/hike rugged terrain in all weather conditions
•Ability to interpret maps/work plans and navigate accordingly
•Ability to collaborate with others on project teams
•Ability to problem solve and work independently
•Ability to identify common coastal trees and growth rates
•Flexibility for occasional overnight travel
Considered an asset for this position:
•Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) experience
•Certified Utility Arborist (CUA) or Apprentice Utility Arborist (AUA)
•ISA Certified Arborist/Utility Specialist
•Eligibility for ABCFP Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) or Registered Professional Forester (RPF)
