Key Responsibilities:

•

Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, patch, tape, and mask surfaces to prepare them for painting.

•

Painting Functions: Assist with brushing, rolling, and spraying paint on residential and commercial projects.

•

Team Collaboration: Work closely with crew members, following direction from experienced painters and crew leads.

•

Project Participation: Contribute to job site efficiency, cleanliness, and professionalism.

•

Quality Control: Help ensure each job meets our standards for craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

•

Tool Maintenance: Use and maintain painting tools and equipment safely and correctly.

•

Safety Practices: Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications:

•

Experience: No prior painting experience required, but general labor, construction, or trade experience is a plus.

•

Physical Ability: Able to perform physical work—bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and working on your feet.

•

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to travel up to 90 miles from our shop in Lancaster, PA. (Travel pay begins after 40 miles.)

•

Communication: Able to follow verbal directions and communicate clearly with team members.

•

Technology: Comfortable using a smartphone for time tracking, project notes, and communication.

•

Language: Proficiency in English required; Spanish is a plus.

•

Work Ethic: Shows up on time, ready to learn, and eager to grow in a trade career.

Working Conditions:

•

Physical Demands: Regular walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders.

•

Lifting: Must be able to lift, carry, or push/pull at least 50 lbs.

•

Environment: Exposure to dust, fumes, and loud noises on active job sites.

•

Safety Equipment: PPE (personal protective equipment) must be worn as required.
