SUMMARY:
Responsible for the general (semi-skilled) manual labor under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent. Employee follows oral and written instructions and performs other work as required. Janitorial duties in all plant buildings. Safely uses equipment supplied to him. Keeps general plant facilities in good appearance. Uses pressure washer to clean equipment. Uses water hoses to clean tank surfaces. Painting and surface preparation. Maintains an adequate supply of cleaning supplies. Assists the Maintenance Mechanic in Preventive Maintenance duties (lubrication)Assists with chemical deliveries. Coordinates delivery and pick up of employee's uniforms. From time to time may be called upon by a supervisor to perform other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
Salary range may be negotiable in accordance with our policy based on an individual's qualifications, education, experience and special licenses/certifications.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required. Must posses a valid driver's license and good driving record. Some knowledge of maintenance and manual labor required. Must read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures manuals required. Must lift and move objects of up to ten pounds required. Must occasionally work in high precarious places and outside weather conditions required. Must be able to obtain Ft. Moore Access is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must read and speak English and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders and MSDS materials.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills such as add, subtract, multiply and divide.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense to carryout instructions furnished in oral and written form.
