Job Summary
Entry level crew member with little to no experience who brings a strong desire to join, and learn, the construction painting and coatings industry. On-the-job and formal training provided to gain specialized skills and advance in your career at Painters USA.
A successful Apprentice is: highly-motivated, punctual, coachable and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic, ability to communicate and team player. Aligns well with company mission and values.
Basic Qualifications
•6 months general work experience, preferred
•No minimum industry experience required
•Highly reliable member crew member
•Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening
•Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
Desired Qualifications
•A quick learner, able to take instruction contributing to high quality and production
•Ability to perform in an active and fast-paced production environment
•Industry safety knowledge & awareness (OSHA10), a plus
•Industry knowledge equipment, materials, and supplies, a plus

•Follows direction given to support safety, quality and production requirements
•Job site awareness with attention to details (housekeeping, crew support, equipment, et)
•Engages in ongoing career development (career ladder and training opportunities)

Safety Responsibilities
•Expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including the: reporting hazards, unsafe work practices and accidents immediately to their supervisors, and wearing required personal protective equipment.
•Follow safety procedures, and complete all assigned safety training.
•Recognize and correct hazards and report hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
•Conduct all work in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulations, programmatic standards, and special safety concerns identified by Painters USA for use in a particular area or with a client.
•All employees are the experts on the tasks they perform and the tools, equipment, and materials they use. Painters USA therefore encourages workers to report safety and health concerns and make suggestions for making the workplace safer. They can do so directly with their supervisors or Safety Department.
•All employees will report accidents and incidents immediately to their supervisors.
Physical Requirements
•Ability to lift up to 15-50lbs, repetitive bending, kneeling, ladder climbing, use of power tools and other equipment, as required
