As an Applications Specialist at Dingo, you will be responsible for delivering successful customer solutions by leading the delivery of data integrations and configuring our software platform to meet client requirements. You will act as the bridge between customers and our R&D team, ensuring that any platform enhancements or development work are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered efficiently.
You will own critical parts of an end-to-end delivery of integration projects - from requirements gathering and design, through configuration, testing, and deployment - ensuring seamless, reliable data exchange between Dingo’s systems and customer environments. You will also lead the digitization of inspection forms, replacing paper-based workflows with streamlined, mobile-first solutions, ensuring data accuracy and ease of use for field teams.
This role combines technical configuration, customer engagement, and project leadership, making it ideal for someone who thrives on both hands-on problem-solving and ensuring projects are delivered to high quality, on time, and on budget.
- Lead the design and delivery of customer data integrations (including both inbound data feeds via direct integration or API, as well as outbound integration with ERPs like SAP), ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Configure and deploy mobile inspection forms using our mobile form platform.
- Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements, ensuring clarity for both customer and development teams.
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Act as the liaison between customers and the R&D team for technical requirements and platform enhancements.
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting for integrations and form deployments.
- Provide training, guidance and ongoing support to customer teams on configured solutions.
- Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation in the integration and form delivery process.- Engineering degree or technical diploma in a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a technical field. Ideally more.
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated time management, prioritization, and project management abilities.
- Proven experience delivering data integration projects in a SaaS or enterprise software context.
- Solid understanding of APIs, data mapping, and ETL processes.
- Experience with mobile form platforms and workflow digitization.
- Hands-on technical configuration and scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements in integration scenarios.
- French language - professional capacity or better is ideal.
- Proficiency in Python for integration scripting and automation.
- Experience in asset-intensive industries (e.g., mining, energy, manufacturing).
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based integration tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts applied to data processing or automation.
- On-time and high-quality delivery of integration and inspection form digitization projects.
- High customer satisfaction and positive feedback on delivered solutions.
- Minimal defects or post-delivery issues.
- Effective communication and alignment between customers and R&D.
