Job Title: Crane Operator
Reports To: Department Management under the direction of the Team Leader.
Shift/Hours: 7:00 PM- 7:00 AM 12-hour shift/ rotating shift
Hourly Pay: $22.56/per hour, with the ability to earn more
We are seeking a skilled and experienced crane operator to join our team. As a crane operator you will be responsible for safely operating overhead cranes and other heavy machinery to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. What You Will Be Responsible For:
•Operate overhead cranes and other heavy machinery to move materials, products, and equipment throughout the facility.
•Load and unload raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods as needed.
•Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe operations of cranes, including conducting pre-operational checks and inspections.
•Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
•Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, including removing debris and obstructions from crane paths and storage areas.
•Adhere to production schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of processes.
•Keep accurate records of materials used and production output.
•Communicate with Team Leader and team members to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
•The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
•Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
•Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the qualifications, knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
What You Will Need:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
•Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures for crane operation.
•Excellent hand-eye coordination and awareness.
•Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
•Strong problem-solving and decision -making skills.
•Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
•Must pass company background check and drug screen
