What is the opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure, IT, the IT Support Analyst assists with maintaining the end user facing environment for Energy Safety Canada. This position is responsible for in-person and remote IT support for Energy Safety Canada’s staff.
What will you do:
•Provide front line support for staff at Energy Safety Canada to resolve issues and questions related to end user hardware, software, and peripherals.
•Responsible for the management of all end user computing devices including patching, firmware updates, and remote management
•Responsible for user account management including but not limited to: onboarding, permissions, changes, terminations, offboarding
•Managing incidents and requests in ITSM system including documenting knowledge base articles for end users and IT technical staff
•Supporting classroom and meeting room A/V systems including web conferencing solutions
•Other duties as required
What you need to succeed:
•Post-Secondary Education related to IT or equivalent experience
•At least one year of related work experience
•Certifications related to ITIL or similar would be a strong asset
•Strong troubleshooting skills and a focus on customer service
•Working knowledge of Windows 11
•Experience with Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint Online and Teams
•Demonstrated knowledge of Office 365 administration would be an asset
•Working knowledge of system management and mobile device management systems
•Working knowledge of mobile devices especially Apple iOS
•Basic knowledge of networking
•Experience with secure printing solutions an asset
•Working knowledge of ServiceNow (incident, change, knowledge, config)
•Ability to work independently
