Reporting to the Agricultural Manager, you will be responsible for fabricating various types of agricultural equipment and products. Reports to: Director/Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

•

Create and assemble a variety of agricultural products including gates, trailers, feeders, livestock pens, irrigation systems, and other custom farm machinery and tools.

•

Perform welding, cutting, bending, and shaping of metal components using MIG, TIG, stick welding, or other techniques as needed.

•

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications to ensure accuracy and functionality in product design and fabrication.

•

Design and build custom agricultural products or modify existing equipment to meet specific needs or requirements.

•

Repair or refurbish existing agricultural equipment, ensuring optimal function and longevity.

•

Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet safety standards, durability requirements, and customer expectations.

•

Follow safety protocols and guidelines for welding and metalworking to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements/Qualifications

•

Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding, with a focus on agricultural or industrial applications.

•

Strong knowledge of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

•

Proficient in using a variety of fabrication tools, including saws, grinders, drills, and lathes.

•

Experience with agricultural equipment repair and modification is a plus.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

•

Knowledge of safety procedures and welding standards.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

Active participation in company safety program

•

Follow safety protocol including wearing of required PPE and understanding and application of safety policies, procedures and practices
