Advanced Step Apprentice (5th Step or above) / Journeyman Lineman - Sioux Falls, SD

We anticipate the need for one or more Advanced Step Apprentice (5th Step or above)/Journeyman Linemen to be located at the Sioux Falls Service Center. The base rate of pay for Journeyman Lineman is $60.31 hourly according to the "Exhibit A" wage scale. Depending on the level of our top candidate, an Advanced Step Apprentice will be coming in at the following percentage of Journeyman Pay:

5th Step: 80% of Journeyman rate

6th Step: 85% of Journeyman rate

7th Step: 90% of Journeyman rate

8th Step: 95% of Journeyman rate

The position will be posted for 10 working days from July 17, 2025, to July 30, 2025.

Job Responsibilities (May include, but not limited to the following)

Perform all duties of the Lineman Classification. Including work on overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems. Individual filling this position should have a high-level commitment to safety, provide quality customer service, be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude.

Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $48.25 to $60.31 per hour
