We are looking for an experienced Receptionist/Office Assistant to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to the highest quality standards. We are an independently owned Oil & Gas company located in downtown Denver. Our Receptionist’s main duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. You should have a pleasant and professional personality, as you will interact with all levels of the company. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This is an IN OFFICE position and hybrid/remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
•Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
•Professionally answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
•Responsible for ordering, receiving, and maintaining adequate stock of office and lunchroom supplies
•Order & maintains office machines/equipment such as – postage machines, copiers, telephones, etc.
•Order business forms, business cards, letterhead, etc.
•Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries; drop off outgoing mail and express packages
•Perform administrative support task including records management, data entry, light calendaring, scheduling of maintenance services
•Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, faxing and document scanning
•Ensure the office communal areas (lobby, kitchens, file rooms etc.) are tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials; some light cleaning may be necessary
•Serve as the main point of contact for property manager regarding building maintenance, building access cards, scheduling of guest access, deliveries etc.
•Provide back up support to the Executive Assistant and Human Resource Assistant
•Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills
•Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or Hospitality role
•Professional personal appearance and welcoming demeanor
•Punctual with dependable transportation
•Solid written and verbal communication skills; phone etiquette
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
•Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
•Excellent organizational skills
•Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
•Customer service/ CAN DO attitude
•Occasional after-hours work may be necessary with advance notice.
Education & Experience
•Associates Degree or higher; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
•2 years relevant experience

Hours are IN OFFICE Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (firm) occasion after hours work may be necessary, with advance notice.
