The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the operation of front office activities. Provides high-level administrative support by assisting Managers and Supervisors with administration and organization of projects, daily functions, and general clerical duties.
Responsibilities:
•Supports Management and their departments in day-to-day activities and Special Projects.
•Manages the inventory of general supplies and has authority to purchase replacements to maintain minimums. Includes travel to local stores using own transportation.
•Coordinates with outside vendors (coffee, office supplies, metered mail) to ensure the efficiency of the front office, including negotiations for competitive pricing.
•Oversees daily office operations including copying, filing, and distributing materials.
•Maintains and coordinates the conference room schedule, responsible for cleanliness and organization of conference room needs and supplies.
•Orders all business cards, envelopes and stationery.
•Assist with all Company events, including purchasing supplies and setting up/tearing down.
•Assist with accounting and document control with administrative tasks.
•Complete all responsibilities in a timely and professional manner while maintaining quality and confidentiality.
•Participate in and support the Company’s professional development and training activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
•Required: High school diploma or equivalent
•Minimum of 2 years work experience in an office setting, as general clerical or administration.
•Strong typing skills are also required.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.

Work Environment/Conditions:
•This position will require working primarily indoors in a smoke-free office and manufacturing facility (machine shop) but may also on occasion require the employee to be in the outdoors.
•Minimal travel will be required.
