Job Summary
Neo Homes is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our purchasing operations for new home construction. This role is ideal for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative to follow up and close the loop on tasks. You’ll be instrumental in helping us source and secure the labor and materials needed to build custom homes, ensuring everything runs on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
•Assist with the purchasing of construction materials and labor services
•Request, review, and track vendor quotes and proposals
•Create and maintain purchase orders and delivery schedules
•Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to confirm timelines and deliveries
•Support communication between the construction and design teams
•Maintain accurate documentation of material selections, pricing, and delivery updates
•Follow up on outstanding orders or missing information
•Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice processing
Qualifications
•Minimum 3 years of experience in construction administration or purchasing
•Strong understanding of residential construction processes and materials
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a proactive attitude
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and construction management software (Buildertrend, Quickbooks, CAD,Planswift or similar)
•Professional, goal-driven, and committed to supporting the team
