Job Description

Torgeson Electric is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable / Front Office Receptionist. This role is responsible for managing front office reception and administrative duties including greeting guests, answering phones, handling inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail, while also supporting our accounting team with accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and enjoys balancing administrative and financial responsibilities.

40 or more per week

Req. Experience

- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and basic accounting principles.

- Proficient in computerized programs such as spreadsheets, accounting software, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external partners.

- Previous experience in an administrative, accounting or clerical role is preferred but not required.

- Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

DutiesTasks

- Manage front desk operations ,greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.

- Answer and route phone calls professionally, providing information and assistance as needed.

- Support the accounting department with accounts payable functions

- Charges expenses to accounts and cost codes by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries.

- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

- Handle payments in an organized and timely manner.

- Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring the workplace remains organized and efficient.

- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive experience.

- Maintain confidentiality and protect the company's financial and personal information.
