Job Summary

CleanJoule is hiring a full-time Accounts Payable & Procurement Associate to support our growing finance and operations teams. This is a critical onsite role that manages all accounts payable processes and works closely with procurement and department leads to ensure seamless vendor onboarding, PO tracking, and payment processing. This is not a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

Own full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice intake, 3-way matching, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
Collaborate with procurement and department leads to track purchase orders, validate receipts, and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain vendor master data and support onboarding with proper compliance documentation.
Prepare weekly payment runs and manage AP aging reports.
Contribute to month-end close with AP-related accruals and reconciliations.
Support process improvements and help enforce internal purchasing and AP policies.
Assist with basic inventory coordination: monitor stock receipts, flag low inventory levels, and support inventory record accuracy in ERP systems.
Other job duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred. Must have 5 years of direct experience in accounts payable or procurement coordination (especially in a startup or manufacturing environment). In lieu of degree, must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent with 10 years of progressive experience directly in accounts payable or procurement coordination (especially in a startup or manufacturing environment).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or others).
Experience with ERP systems and tools like Bill.com.
Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communicator, both written and verbal, and a proactive team player.
