Accounting Specialist

Job Title: Accounting Specialist Department: Administrative Location: Onsite – OKC Office Reports To: Owner and Vice Presidents

Position Overview

The Accounting Specialist plays a key role in supporting upper-level management by handling daily financial operations with accuracy and compliance. This position is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank deposits, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

- Process and record bank deposits and reconcile accounts regularly

- Prepare accurate financial reports for management review

- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations

- Maintain organized financial records and documentation

- Identify and resolve discrepancies through analytical review

- Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and internal teams to resolve accounting-related issues

Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred)

- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- No degree required; relevant accounting experience strongly preferred
