Account Manager - Power Generation

Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible for leading the sales effort on power generation projects. The position is supported by a team of applications engineers skilled in technical design, system optimization and cost estimation.

Customers are typically end users in oil and gas, datacenters, petrochemical, and industrial markets. The equipment we package is primarily reciprocating engine generator sets under 5 MW. Scope of supply may include electrical switchgear, transformers, heat exchangers, absorption chillers, Waste Heat Recovery unit (WHRU) and other balance of plant items for turnkey solutions.

Enerflex is a single-source supplier of products and services to the power generation, gas compression and gas processing markets. Enerflex supports its operations through corporate, regional, and field office infrastructure throughout the World.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

- Meet sales targets.

- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing efforts of power generation equipment.

- Network and develop relationships with customers to further the Enerflex brand reputation and promise.

- Be able to demonstrate the benefits of Enerflex products to prospective customers.

- Liaison with applications engineers to develop and submit proposals to the customers.

- Review project commercial T&Cs and provide comments, as necessary.

- Liaison with Enerflex legal and commercial team and service teams, as necessary.

- Stay engaged with the customer and the factory during project execution.

- Assure the projects are executed to customer and company satisfaction.

- Travel and work non‐standard hours including evenings and weekends as required.

- Abide by and promote company HSE policy

Qualifications

- 10+ years of relevant work experience.

- Experience with selling, renting, or leasing power generation equipment to end users.

- Excellent networking and customer relationship skills

- Established understanding of contracts and commercial negotiation skills.

- Demonstrated ethical behavior.

- Being organized with attention to detail.

- Having excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

- Must be self-motivated and team oriented, capable of learning, managing time, priorities, and operating well under pressure with little supervision.

Physical Requirements

Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic and international travel on occasion.
