How You Can Make An Impact
The Yard Procurement Technician plays a pivotal role in managing materials and supplies essential for production. This dynamic position blends procurement expertise with hands-on support in the yard, ensuring materials are readily available and aligned with production needs. The coordinator will oversee the efficient organization, handling, and staging of materials, working directly within the yard to facilitate smooth production workflows. By maintaining accurate records and ensuring the highest quality standards, this role directly contributes to operational success.
How You Will Contribute
•Source and procure materials, supplies, and products needed for production, ensuring the best quality at competitive prices.
•Coordinate with suppliers to manage timely delivery of materials, maintaining inventory levels to support production schedules.
•Assemble tools, wands, and related equipment to prepare for field operations.
•Manage shipping and receiving of tools and materials.
•Receive, organize, and stock tools and supplies; ensure work trucks are fully outfitted and ready.
•Maintain a clean and organized yard, including sweeping and proper disposal of trash and debris.
•Work in the yard to ensure materials are readily available.
•Assist with the assembly or creation of products, including preparing and organizing raw materials.
•Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, materials used, and production timelines.
•Work directly in the yard to assist with the staging, organizing, and handling of materials.
•Adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards while working in the yard.
•Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Report any issues with materials or production processes to the appropriate team members for resolution.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
•Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a production or yard environment.
•Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Basic understanding of production processes and materials handling.
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
•A proactive problem solver with a focus on efficiency and quality.
•Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physical environment as required.
Your Prior Experience
•Required: High School Diploma or GED
•Required: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
•Desired: Class A Driver’s License
•Preferred: Experience in the construction industry.
Our Competitive Package
Pay: $25.00 - $30.50 per hour
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.
