The Yard personnel is responsible for:

•

Maintain yard, equipment organization and cleanliness

•

Get orders staged and ready for customer pick ups

•

Potential for Paint touch ups

•

Light maintenance on returning equipment

•

Loading and unloading equipment such as ATV / UTV / Skidoos / Generators / Light Towers / ARGOs / Skid steers and various other pieces of equipment. For deliveries or customer pick ups.

•

Starting equipment for customers. Doing walk throughs with customers.

•

Helping keep shop clean - floors, garbage, recycle, organize

•

Working with a the team to coordinate customer orders and deliveries

•

Must service customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner.

•

Primarily In-town deliveries using 5 Ton Picker trucks

•

Secure loaded equipment per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.

•

Know specifics and applications of rental inventory, so you can answer questions upon delivery.

•

Maintain and keep yard organized and free of debris

•

Working as a team player and helping out where required

•

May require occasional assistance with deliveries

Position Tasks & Activities - Mechanic

•

Basic Mechanical inspections

•

Oil changes

•

Trailer checks

•

Mechanical aptitude.

•

Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair a variety of heating equipment in the shop or field

•

Strong communications skills a must

•

Must have experience with Skidsteers, Manlifts, Excavators, Forklifts.

•

Instruct customers on equipment operation. Obtain customer’s signature. Turn in these forms to the supervisor, along with pick up sheets. Tag and move broken equipment to the repair area.

•

Advising clients on safety features and maintenance of gas units.

•

Secure customer signature on contract, if not already signed.

•

Maintain and keep yard organized and free of debris

We’re looking for someone who:

•

Has a clean driving abstract for past 5 years and can provide a copy of it at the Interview

•

Has a valid Alberta class 5 drivers license

•

Is energetic and eager to help where needed in the shop

•

Has a minimum of 2 years of load securement / equipment operation experience

•

Experience using a Forklift

•

Has excellent communication skills

•

Attention to detail

•

Is independent and resourceful; has the ability to work under minimal supervision

•

Is reliable and on time for work to help support the team.

•

Knowledge of ATV / UTV / Skidoo / Argo / Trailer / Skid Steer / Generator / light tower is an asset
