WORKING ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT - Our Working Assistant Superintendents are talented, experienced, focused, and goal-oriented. Each have the right attitude, work ethic, and communication skills. These individuals are motivated to learn the the Superintendent role in effort to grow within the Septon Team. Working Assistant Superintendents are direct reports to the Superintendent and follow directions from the Superintendent, Project Managers, Senior Superintendents, and Ownership on all facets of our projects.
COMPENSATION: Salaried Position - $50,000-$65,000

+ Travel Per diem reimbursement - $50.00 per scheduled work day out of town
+ Night Differential reimbursement – 10% salary increase on nights worked 4 hours past midnight

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED! MUST be willing to travel UP TO 100 % of the time – we are a traveling company with licenses and actively working in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, California, Montana, Colorado, and Texas.
To succeed in this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
•Have the experience, education and background which leads to the ability to perform construction tasks as necessary, including: mill-work, carpentry, framing, light plumbing, light electrical, drywall, and other trades as needed
•Ability to direct temporary labor in task completion
•Coordination, control, and the ability to meet deadlines
•Ability to work off hours (must be available any hours required by schedule)
•Ability to read Commercial blue prints and job specs thoroughly and completely
•Ability to pass Procore online training program
•Ability to effectively communicate and enter daily logs, take photos, and document information daily within Procore construction management system phone app
•Ability to use 365 Office phone app to communicate via email
•Must have and keep a Clean/Insurable Driving Record
•Have Osha 10 Certification or complete within 60 days of hire
•Have Tools required on Tool list or willing to obtain prior to first shift
Job Responsibilities
•Follow the Core Values of Septon Development Group at all times
•Adhere to OSHA safety standards at all times and report issues on site immediately to Superintendent or Project manager
•Maintain the Company Vehicle (if assigned one) – Keep vehicle in top operating and aesthetic condition. This includes, basic repairs, and touch up paint, taking to shop for oil changes, tire rotations, and other repairs as needed. Communicating with Asset manager if issues arise with vehicle immediately.
•Turn in All receipts within 24hrs of using company credit card
•Enter Accurate Procore Log and upload photos, every day prior to end of shift, for every project – Time of arrival and departure must be a part of the log.
•Company Cell phone must be charged and be available to communicate with the office, Superintendent, temp agencies, trucking agencies, etc. for the entire duration of your shift
•Coordinate & Direct Temporary Staff on Job Sites and Terminate them as needed
•Understand the scope of the project and schedule.
•Voice concerns (Checks and Balance)

•Have materials necessary on the jobsite before start of shift
•Be ready to start work at the scheduled time
•Confirm travel is set for the entire project assigned (If needed)
•Work to become advanced on Skills Matrix
