Nine Energy Services is looking for an experienced Wireline/Diesel Mechanic for our Midland, Texas facility. The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining equipment in proper working order. This will involve conducting repairs in both the shop and field.
· Inspect equipment, structures, materials, etc. to identify the cause of problems or failures
· Drive vehicles or mechanized equipment to and from location and operating it to complete jobs as necessary
· Minimize equipment downtime by conducting routine maintenance as well as preventative maintenance measures to avoid failures
· Perform routine maintenance functions on assigned fleet of equipment
· Conduct other maintenance repairs or duties as assigned by supervisor
· Maintains assigned wireline unit, tools, equipment and facilities in a neat, working condition
· Frequently update supervisor on status of wireline fleet
· Update and maintain all required repair logs in a timely manner
· Observes safety and security rules and procedures and immediately reports potentially unsafe conditions. Utilizes Stop Work Authority when necessary.
· Maintain the highest possible safety standards at all times and uphold company, customer, and industry HSE policies
