Job Summary:
Responsible for the installation of windows and doors in residential homes, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves working closely with other team members and clients to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
•Installation: Install a variety of new construction and replacement windows and doors, according to written proposals and job site drawings.
•Preparation: Prepare work areas by removing old materials, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring the site is ready for new installations.
•Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut materials to fit specific spaces and design requirements.
•Finishing: Apply finishing touches such as trim, molding, and caulking to ensure a polished look.
•Inspection and Adjustment: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and make any necessary adjustments.
•Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences and provide advice on maintenance and care.
•Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
•Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of old materials and debris properly.
Qualifications:
•Experience: Previous experience in installation or a related field within the remodeling industry is preferred, but willing to train.
•Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read proposals. Willingness to learn new skills and training.
•Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or a related field is a plus.
•Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions, and go up on ladders.

•Locations: Work is typically performed at residential properties.
•Conditions: May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
