As a Wind Turbine Technician at Acciona, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing our wind turbine installations. Located in the United States, this position is essential for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities

•

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance.

•

Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on turbine systems.

•

Utilize rigging techniques for safe handling of equipment during maintenance tasks.

•

Climb turbines to perform inspections and repairs at height, adhering to safety protocols.

•

Read blueprints and technical drawings to assist in installation and repair processes.

•

Provide field service support, responding to maintenance requests promptly.

•

Work collaboratively with construction teams on site to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Wind Turbine Technician or similar role in the renewable energy sector.

•

Strong electrical skills with experience in high voltage systems.

•

Ability to climb turbines safely and work at heights is essential.

•

Familiarity with generator repair techniques is preferred.

•

Basic welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.

•

Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation effectively.
