Capex Oilfield Services is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service, and support to the energy industry. As a thriving and progressive organization, we are currently seeking a Wellsite Service Technician for our Williston Branch.
The Wellsite Service Technician is responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of the Capex wellsite fleet, which includes performing a variety of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. This position includes shop and field work, being on-call on a rotational basis, effectively dealing with customer concerns and maintaining a high standard of quality and service. - Wellsite repair, maintenance, servicing, and cleaning at the shop and in the field
- Troubleshooting and performing a variety of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
- Shipping of wellsite trailers in a ready to work condition
- Preparing or rig moves and mobilizing/demobilizing wellsite packages
- Providing pertinent information and communicating any damage to the dispatch team
- Draining wellsite's and ensuring cleanliness satisfactory
- Assisting with maintaining the proper parts inventory (via: maintenance sheets, work orders, P.O.#’s, inventory sheets)
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and quality control
The desirable candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Plumbing, labor or wastewater experience
- Experience with furnaces, mechanical systems, air conditioners and satellite dishes / receivers
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic electrical principles
- Woodworking, home renovation or general carpentry experience
- Oilfield service experience
- Desire and ability to perform physical requirements of the job in winter conditions and work in a drug and alcohol-free environment
- A valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
