Title: Wellsite Supervisor
Pay Rate: $ 101.64/hr - $127.05/hr
Location: North Slope, Alaska
Contract Duration: 12 months
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Santos Wellsite Supervisor (OCR) is the key representative at the well site to ensure the operations are performed as per the approved Operations Program, liaising with the PIC. Wellsite Supervisor (OCR) must verify:
•Rig position/lease layout is as per Well Program.
•Pre-Spud meeting and/ or a readiness to operate review must be conducted before spudding a well.
•Operations are being conducted in accordance with the SMS and D&C EHS Bridging Document.
•Barriers are in place and tested as applicable in accordance with TS5 (Onshore) Barrier.
•Equipment and services supplied by contractors are fit for service and as per contract.
•Third party contractor lifting equipment is supplied with the certification requirements specified in the contract.
•Hole fill volume is correct and hole conditions are acceptable.
•Pressure testing and recording of tests are conducted per Well Program.
•The execution of and results from formation integrity tests or leak off tests.
•Cement and displacement volumes are properly calculated, and cement jobs are carried out in accordance with the Well Program or supplementary program.
•Drilling and completion fluid properties are in accordance with the Well Program.
•Logging operations including checking weak-point tension limit and cable tension limit and tool weight in mud calculated before entering open hole. Ensuring logging tension is checked in open hole section as per wireline protocol. m) Depth control during drilling, logging, slickline work and pipe severing/back off. •Proper fluid displacement when changing fluid systems.
•Proper landing of casing, tubing and other completion operations including setting of packers.
•Operations are carried out in accordance with facilities interface plan.
•Proper abandonment or suspension of wells, including seabed or location clean-up.
•Well handover documents are complete and accurate.
•Well control tests and exercises are conducted per Well Program and Well Control Bridging Document.
•Crew competency is fit for operations.
•Communications and authority handover protocols are followed.
•Well status at beginning and end of operations, including such information as Leak off Tests, casing pressure tests etc.
