Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and be familiar with construction site environments. This role involves working with metal components, ensuring high-quality welds, and adhering to industry codes and standards. The Welder will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures, including ductwork and sheet metal applications.
Responsibilities
•Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
•Operate plasma cutting equipment to shape metal components as required.
•Utilize power tools and equipment such as micrometers for precise measurements and adjustments.
•Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry codes and standards during all welding activities.
•Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
•Conduct inspections of welds to ensure quality and integrity of the finished product.
•Assist in the installation of ductwork and other metal structures as needed.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in welding with a strong understanding of welding techniques and processes.
•Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
•Proficient in using power tools, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
•Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
•Experience working with sheet metal and ductwork is preferred.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues effectively.
