Welder

Elite Integrity Services is a rapidly growing company specializing in the construction of new, and repair/maintenance of storage tanks used in oil and gas, petrochemical and other industries. Our welding shop, located on the west side of Highway 2 near Ponoka, Alberta, prepares all material, parts and components that are then shipped into the field for final construction or or installation.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled 3rd year or Journeyman Welder to join our team. If you are a motivated, hard working individual with an eye for quality, efficiency and safety, you may be the one we are looking for.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings

- Assemble and fabricate metal components using welding equipment

- Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools

- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to rig and position components

Qualifications

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics

- Experience in welding and fabrication techniques

- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Mechanical knowledge for rigging components efficiently

-experience in SMAW and FCAW

-CWB tickets are an asset but not required.

-experience with running overhead cranes is an asset but not required.

Elite can offer the following:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.23-$39.14 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
