Job Summary:
Perform Electron beam welding on assemblies following procedures; able to set up and tend machines designed to weld through the use of a high-velocity electron beam.
Reporting To:
Department Manager/Supervisor
Essential Job Functions:
•Review work orders to ensure familiarization with job requirements.
•Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
•Operate machine(s) utilizing proper procedures for optimum weld quality.
•Perform welding using Heli-arc, Spot weld, and Electron Beam equipment.
•Inspect parts continuously to ensure that the welding process is performed in a manner consistent with company standards of quantity and quality.
•Perform set-ups, adjust control settings to meet strength, leak test, pressure and penetration requirements for a wide variety of assembly types and materials.
•Leak test welded parts at each operation as required by routing.
•Record weld results and distribute daily report.
•Maintain file of weld schedules and fixtures in good order in weld room.
•Perform cross-sectioning of parts where required.
•Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment in the weld room as required.
Adhere to health and safety regulations.

•Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
•Teamwork and communication skills
•Ability to lift/move up to 30lbs.
•Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time
Education and Experience:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Technical degree is a plus

Salary Range:
$24.00 - $34.00/Hour, Depending on Experience.
