Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fitting, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics to ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly of components.
Responsibilities
•
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and welding requirements.
•
Operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders, to fabricate metal components.
•
Utilize power tools and machinery such as press brake machines for shaping and forming materials.
•
Assemble ductwork and other metal structures according to project specifications.
•
Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in measurements and fitment.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
•
Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
•
Rig materials as needed for safe handling during the welding process.
•
Adhere to all safety protocols while working in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge.
•
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
•
Familiarity with various welding techniques and processes.
•
Experience using power tools, including but not limited to grinders, drills, and saws.
•
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
•
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
