Welder/Fabricator - TIG

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to independently produce parts that meet drawing requirements. This role requires the welds to be excellent both structurally and aesthetically for customer satisfaction. In addition to TIG welding ability, a significant portion of the candidates responsibilities will extend to operating a CNC press brake, so experience with sheet metal forming is crucial.

Duties

- Program and operate a CNC press brake to form customer parts to print.

- Perform TIG welding on various metals including mild steel, stainless steel, 4130, and aluminum.

- Read and interpret drawings to determine project requirements.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as drills and grinders.

- Conduct assembly of components and systems, ensuring quality control throughout the process.

- Operate cranes and forklifts for material handling as needed.

- Execute rigging tasks safely and efficiently.

- Measure components using calipers, height gauges, and basic math skills to ensure precise fabrication.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
