About This Job
Overview
We’re looking for experienced Combo Welders for a CONTINGENT upon award opportunity at the GPX LNG Export project in Sabine Pass, TX.Ideal candidates should have:Proven experience in LNG or large industrial projectsStrong safety record and commitment to quality craftsmanshipAbility to pass weld tests per project requirementsAbility to start ASAP when awarded
Duties

The Ideal candidates should have:

Proven experience in LNG or large industrial projects
•
Strong safety record and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
•
Ability to pass weld tests per project requirements
•
Ability to start ASAP when awarded
•
Execute pipe threading and ductwork fabrication as needed for specific projects.
•
Operate machinery including press brake machines for shaping metal parts.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
•
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process, ensuring high-quality results.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in welding with proficiency in multiple techniques including Stick welding and Plasma cutting.
•
Familiarity with machining processes and the operation of press brake machines is preferred.
•
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
•
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
•
Experience in assembling metal components and performing pipe threading is advantageous.
•
Knowledge of safety practices related to welding and metal fabrication.
•
A commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement in skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
