Cotterman Company is the largest manufacturer of rolling metal and fixed metal ladders in North America. We are looking for motivated Welders to perform various welding functions according to work orders. Cotterman Company has multiple openings on the 1st shift as well as a competitive benefits package for full-time hires after a 90 day waiting period .
- Weld parts according to work orders.
- Deliver finished parts to proper locations.
- Replace consumable parts of welder.
- Maintain neat, orderly work area.
- Work safely.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervision
- High School Graduate or equivalent desired.
- Trade school or welding knowledge, experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use tape measure.
- Ability to operate welding equipment.
- Good eye-hand and motor coordination.
- Reliable with excellent attendance record.
- Able to stand at static work location for extended period.
- Ability to effectively read and write to maintain accurate documentation.
- Ability to move and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work well with co-workers to maintain a positive work environment.
