Weighmaster

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weighmaster to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording the weight of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

Duties

- Accurately weigh products and materials using appropriate scales and equipment.

- Record weights and maintain detailed logs for all incoming and outgoing shipments.

- Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock.

- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials.

- Participate in packaging processes to prepare items for shipment.

- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.

- Ensure compliance with safety and MSHA regulations

Qualifications

- Previous weighmaster experience is preferred

- Basic math skills for accurate weight calculations and inventory management.

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

- A commitment to safety practices within the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
